A woman named Viktoria contacts Garrett for a job: The master thief shall break into the mansion of the nobleman Constantine to steal a unique sword. With this mission the plot of The Dark Project starts to become much more important. Total loot value on all difficulty settings: 2656 (Thief Gold) respectively 2636 (original) What starts as a break into another mansion changes into the probably most interesting level design and environment art of the whole game. One reason why a lot of players think this is the best mission of Thief. With Thief Gold the mission got an extention in form of some kind of easter egg / secret that is completely optional but includes 30 loot: the Litte Big World. I'm playing more or less rapid but not even close to speed-running, mostly as ghost but if someone stands between me and my loot and can't be avoided I won't hesitate to knock him out but no human was seriously harmed during production of this video. However, that doesn't count for undeads, burricks, spiders and other nonhumans... in any case I think the video series works very well as a walkthrough and at the same time as "just for watching" a full playthrough including story without aimless wandering. Thief Gold is available on Steam and GOG.
