The Annual Sports Meet of The Progress High School, was held on 10th of December 2022. Preparations were started a week ahead of the date. On the closing ceremony of sports meet the Chairman Mr. Mirza Mohd Ali Baig, Principals of 3 branches Mrs. Shalin Richard, Mrs. Janaki Bhasker, and Mrs. Cina Ram, the staff and the student’s leaders received the Chief Guest and escorted him to the stage. The Chairman & Sports captain welcomed the gathering. Chief Guest of the day was LT COL JASBIR PRATAP SHARMA, COMMANDANT, The guest of honor's were Mr.v. Sreenivasa Reddy Asst. Commissioner Of Police TSZ, Mrs. Dr. Shweta Sharma, Mrs. Shama Noor Sub Inspector Of Police & Mrs. MD. Haseena Sub Inspector Of Police. The Principal of Falaknuma branch Mrs. Shalin Richard read out the Annual Report and described the achievements of the school in academics and Sports. The Chief Guest gave away the prizes and honored the winners. He made a inspiring speech, appreciated the school management, staff and students. He also invited the students to have the spirit of sportsmanship and strive towards to become good leaders for the future. At the closing ceremony, extinguishing of the Sports torch and lowering of the Sports flag was held by the Chief Guests who also declared the sports festival CLOSED for the year 2022-23. This was followed by cultural programs by students. Finally, the function concluded by Vote of thanks by Mrs Janaki Bhasker principal of Bandlaguda branch.
