They’re the link between the grain elevators which stock the grain that the farmers grow and our customers who order this grain and process it. On one hand, they allocate the grain to our various elevators. They optimise allocations to the different storage sites so that the goods move around smoothly and efficiently. And on the other, they channel the grain towards the customers’ orders, making sure that the batches and quality levels match the specifications the customers require, and which have been agreed by the sales teams. The main skills you need to work in this area are patience, responsiveness, a talent for planning ahead and an ability to stay calm in all circumstances.
