My friend Natalie Major (who I've done a couple songs with over the years) asked me if I'd be interested in helping her spread awareness for a non-profit she was working with. After she explained how it was a project to bring happiness to Alzheimer's and Dementia patients via music, I said "Of course!" and asked her if she wanted do a Highway Singalong, since this series is all about bringing joy to people. So we decided to hit the road and see how many honks we could get from people stuck in rush hour traffic. We made a big sign that said "HONK FOR CHARITY" and got a decent number of people to honk for us! There was even one lady you can see in the video who tried to give us actual money in traffic! That was pretty awesome of her. We also had a guy who showed us his pet snake, and another guy who showed us his son's toys. Guess things can get a little crazy when you're stuck in LA rush hour traffic for hours haha. ANYWAYS, the main point of this video is to raise money for Music & Memory, a non-profit that helps improve quality of life for Alzheimer's and Dementia patients.
