SubZero SZM-11 Dynamic Microphone Sound Test - A $30 RODE Procaster Alternative? This is a sound test of the affordable Subzero SZM-11 dynamic microphone by Gear4Music. This is not a detailed review or anything of that sort, but I couldn't find anything on this great microphone on Youtube so I had to make a video real quick! So is the SubZero SZM-11 a good microphone for podcasting? That's a big yes from me! I had no idea that a cheap microphone could sound so close to my more expensive Røde microphones. Have a listen, I would love to hear what you think. Please excuse the poor lighting and lack of color grading. The lighting in this room is absolutely dreadful, but I just felt like shooting this quickly without any extra lights or setup.
