But it’s far from one of my favorites. One of my earlier videos, although it was an exceptionally clear day in the LA Basin, I focused on the shadow of the airplane and missed so many potential fantastic views of the surrounding landscape. I feel like this capture makes up for that one. We start off turning toward our downwind approach with Catalina Island in the distance. With the coast coming into view, we continue over the Los Angeles Basin to the east before making our 180 turn to our final approach.
