This was Scott’s 2nd annual best-of episode, presented as the CDR Radio Awards, with in-studio guests James Adomian, Andy Daly, Jon Daly, Brett Gelman, Nick Kroll, Thomas Lennon, Seth Morris, Tig Notaro and Paul F. If you can’t stand the images, please don’t let them stop you from enjoying the voices, because there are some great moments in these two hours, so simply look away and just listen. It won’t be an issue for the second half. After working on this for about a year, I abandoned it in late 2017, so there are no images edited into the second hour. It became more of a chore than a fun escape, not just the endless edits due to the format I had established, but, tougher still, finding creative ways to illustrate the surreal madness (especially that of Huell Howser) became too much of a challenge, so rather than work out how to show Ice-T’s face being ripped off, I threw in the towel to concentrate on videos featuring highlights from Scott and Paul. But I recently had a listen and having had a break from it, not seeing it as work, I laughed a lot and thought I should upload it, especially as this hilarious highlights package, 2010's best of CBB, was not on YouTube. I have learned a lot about photo and video editing since I last worked on this edit and there are things I would like to add (such as a credit for Zach Galifianakis, which I just realised I neglected) and images I would fix (especially Lucy Liu!), but it’s time to let this one go.
