The America's Great Loop cruising the northern Chesapeake. The Great Loop takes us into a special place for our Krogen. It like returning home when we dock at Calvert Marina. We bought our boat in June 2024 and she was docked at Calvert Marina. There is so many things to do in Solomons. I visited the Calvert Marine Museum and rode my bike to Solomons Island for crab cakes and Smith Island Cake. The next morning we had thunderstorms and a day of rain crossing over to St Michaels on the East side of the Chesapeake Bay. We donned our rain coats and went our for a walking adventure of the Maritime Museum and the downtown. So many shops and restaurants.
