Stir with a spoon or dough whisk until a shaggy dough forms. Then, add the olive oil and continue mixing until well incorporated. Knead the dough: Transfer the dough to a oilgreased surface. Knead the dough for 10 minutes by hand, or until it becomes smooth and elastic First rise: Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a damp kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size. Shape the dough: Gently punch down the risen dough to release the air. On a lightly greased surface, shape the dough into a loaf and place it seam-side down in a greased loaf pan.
