Blessing A Curse are a hard rock band from Orlando, Florida with a sound made up of intricate riffs, progressive drums, electronic production, eerie as well as appealing/intense vocals, and an eclectic style of screaming. The outfit, made up of Joshy Singer, Brandon Swanson, Jorge Romani, Ronnie Mitchell, and Matty Owen have already made their mark with catchy melodies not usually combined with their heavier style while also putting a large amount of focus on the story they are telling. Though they project a primarily vindictive persona, they have an extensive style that shows a strong motivation for growth. Formed in Orlando in 2013, Blessing A a curse released their debut EP “Somewhere in Between it All” and quickly gained local recognition by opening up for touring acts such as Beartooth, Alesana, I See Stars and Like Moths To Flames. Blessing A Curse just finished recording their first full length record entitled “Satisfaction for the Vengeful” with Andrew Wade at The Wade Studio. --------------------------- Every Single Lie is about struggling with suicidal thoughts and watching your parents go through a divorce. --------------------------- All at once the inherent loneliness of being human sinks in, I'm still haunted by the day that my father said "if I never met your mother my whole life would be so much better" but in the span of a day much can change and I'm still learning how to keep it together, They told us we would be alright yeah they sold us every single lie but we know just what it feels like when you lose the will to fight and that's why we've earned the right to stay alive oh i cannot give up it's taken me so long and there's way too much riding on us to not have them proven wrong I can't blame you if you don't want me around sometimes I'm not sure I do either it's not that I don't have a purpose now but I never learned how to follow the leader they told us we would be alright yeah they sold us every single lie but we know just what it feels like when you lose the will to fight and that's why we've earned the right to stay alive we're worse than the things that go bump in the night we are the dogs they abused out of spite they silenced our bark so we learned how to bite the ones who betrayed us yeah, I guess you were right they fuckin betrayed us when they told us we would be alright they sold us every single lie but we know just what it feels like when you lose the will to fight and that's why we've earned the right to stay alive to stay alive (x4) if everything has changed there's nothing left to say I'm tired of fighting I'll be on my way --------------------------- Hey... we'd love if you subscribed to our channel.
