Children with autism can springboard off these pop out words and start to gain echoic control and develop language skills. Once you start increasing vocalization in toddlers through getting them to say words, you can start to expand the set of words they know and thus, expand communication. It’s important to note that these tips for increasing language that I’m covering today isn’t going to be easy, or once and done type of thing. Autism and talking requires a lot of practice, dedication, and sometimes it can take weeks or months to see some progress.
