This is a video about my latest middle school book recommendations and class favorites. All of these books can be read by either fifth graders or sixth graders. This list is a good example of the variety of topic interest found within a typical middle school classroom. Do you have reluctant readers or advanced readers? I am also giving insight into which books have been popular with different types of readers. I am currently teaching middle school, 6th, and 7th grade English Language Arts. I love talking about books and getting kids excited to read. Not all middle school students know how to choose a good book for themselves.
