Pervomaiske, nicknamed 'Pervo' by the legionnaires of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is located just a few kilometers from Donetsk itself - the heart of the Russian-occupied Donbas region. During the Ukrainian counteroffensive of the Summer of 2023, the spotlight was mostly on the Southern front. So the enemy wasn't expecting a daring assault in the East, right on the outskirts of one of their capitals. Even more surprising to them must have been to hear the English language. This film is the first of our videos dedicated to the Chosen Company - then a reconnaissance company of the 59th Motorized Brigade. These fighters have been through hell and high water.
