Finally filmed some of Dubai Airport's ThyssenKrupp elevators. These aren't German nor China made btw, but Spain made imported from the Madrid factory and are the Latitude model (ThyssenKrupp Spain's mid-heavy duty MRL model). The LCD floor indicators are the same like the ones in Spain but the buttons are generic made by Schaefer. Apart from the basic English + Arabic voice announcement inside, these elevators also say "The lift is going up/down" whenever a call is made outside. Interestingly, they allow you to cancel a floor with just a single press, similar to Korean ThyssenKrupp elevators. Another thing I noticed is that the floor buttons don't flash, so I wonder if they use a different TK controller instead of CMC4 from Spain. Love that loud motor brake sound though! These elevators go up to the transit hotel above the departure hall and they run at 1.6 m/sec which is pretty good. Bear in mind that this is after security checkpoint. 📝 Quick elevator review ➕️ Pros: • Very smooth ride and pretty fast • Disabled friendly ➖️ Cons: • Loud motor brake sound ℹ️ Info • Brand: ThyssenKrupp (unbranded) • Model: Latitude • Manufacturer: ThyssenKrupp Elevator Manufacturing Spain S.L.U. • Installed by: ThyssenKrupp Elevator (U.A.E.)
