Preparation Unplug the machine from the power source to ensure safety. Remove the drip tray and water tank from the machine. Note: There might be some moisture when removing the tank. Use a paper towel to wipe it off. 2. Removing the Top Cover Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding the top cover in place. Carefully lift the top cover. Underneath the top cover, disconnect the two cables (usually yellow) to free the cover completely. 3. Removing the Existing Spring Use a metric 10-11 wrench to remove the existing spring. Important: While doing this, support the plastic piece holding the spring with your hand to avoid damage. Breaking this piece is a common issue during spring removal. Use the wrench carefully to remove the spring without applying excessive force. 4. Installing the New Spring Attach the new spring in the same position as the old one. Caution: Avoid using tools like pliers, as they may damage the area where the spring is attached. Tighten the spring with the wrench, but do not apply excessive force to prevent damage. 5. Reassembling the Machine Reconnect the yellow cables to the top cover. Place the top cover back onto the machine: First, align the front part of the cover. Use your hands and fingers to gently guide it into place over the water tank area. Secure the top cover by tightening the screws you loosened earlier. Reattach the drip tray and water tank, ensuring everything is securely in place. 6. Final Step With the reassembly complete, your machine is ready to use!
