Whitsundays is heaven on earth, no doubt about it! Even though the tourist path is well paved and there are plenty of tours to the islands, it's still pure and untouched for the biggest part. Among 74 islands in total and the clearest blue ocean in between, we catch an ocean raft to explore the highlights. We see stingrays, beautiful coral, the best view on Hill Inlet, the whitest beach called Whitehaven Beach, birds, monitor lizards and more! Whitsundays is a place every traveler wants to visit in a lifetime and in the video you can see why! In the previous episode we took you to Bowen, also called the Top of Whitsundays. In reality a lot of travelers skip this pretty little town to go straight to Airlie Beach, Hamilton Island or Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsundays. North of the places with a lot of mass tourism is a pretty little town waiting to be discovered. In this video you can learn all about Bowen and why you should go there! Before that we explored Magnetic Island, another INCREDIBLE nature paradise. Just half an hour off the coast of Queensland, this is the biggest chance to spot koalas in all of Australia. After being discovered by captain Cook in 1770, his ship had trouble navigating through a magnetic field, hence the name Magnetic Island. The video shows a beautiful setting of green mountains, rocky beaches and plenty of wild animals. As a family we left home to pursue our dream of traveling and making videos.
