The only fix is to install one load resistor on each 7440 LED light. So one resistor on the left and one resistor on the right. Since the rear light assembly cannot be accessed in the vehicle. You will need to install the load resistor behind the tail light, and zip tie it to the wiring harness. Then tuck it between the tail light and the car's body panel. The heatsink on the load resistor will get hot when the flasher is on. So try to keep the heatsink away from the paint.
