Limited Edition Set of Marbled Teal Tumblers - Start to Finish

In this video, I walk through the process of making a marbled porcelain tumbler using white cone 6 porcelain layered with teal-stained porcelain. I begin by stacking and wedging the two contrasting clays together to create a soft, organic marbled pattern throughout the body. Once the clay is prepared I throw the tumblers on the wheel, trim them at the leather-hard stage to refine the form and expose the pattern underneath, and finish by firing to cone 6 in an electric kiln.
