The band was formed in 2005 by Jesus Arriaga, well known saxophonist and composer in the Mexican ska band "Inspector". In this project Arriaga writes, plays the sax and sings with his particular style. To the project joined "Tom Cat" (guitar and vocals), "Golo" (drums), "Eddie" (guitar) and later joined to the band "Honorio" (bass). "Llegaron Los Benders Vol. 1", their debut album attracted the attention of the underground scene and rockabilly followers. This let them to perform in several cities in Mexico as well as in international festivals like "Rock Baby Rock it" in Houston, Texas and "Rockabilly weekend" in Las Vegas Nevada. "Los Benders" have brought back the energy of the old school Rock and Roll in their live performances. Also, their own style can be distinguished in this new record, which 11 tracks combine powerful lyrics that take us from the love, sarcasm, broken hearts, alcohol till social content.
