Watch Orchestra of the Swan's latest single, from their forthcoming album Echoes (due out in May), Toby Young's Trance performed by Orchestra of the Swan and conducted by Philip Sheppard with Viv Mclean and Simon Desbruslais. The Art of Dancing is a modern homage to the baroque dance suite, with each movement hinting at a different style of electronic dance music. ‘Trance’ is a nocturne from the centre of the work, inspired simultaneously by the hypnotic quality of trance music and the stillness of Mahler’s famous Adagietto from his fifth symphony.” Toby Young Recorded at School Farm Studios, Little Maplestead on 14th, 15th & 16th June 2022 and at Woodbury Studios on 14th July 2022.
