Tiff Needell reports on the final Caterham Academy of 2021 at Snetterton!

If you enjoy the video then please help us and hit that like button! It's the final rounds of the Caterham Academy season and this time, we're off to Snetterton, near Norwich! Tiff Needell is back presenting, and of course Paul Woodman driving his number 69 Caterham! Is it finally time for Paul's podium? In the Green Group, Geoff Newman leads Freddie Chiddicks with just 1 point between them, this weekend would decide the title! Qualifying resulted in Geoff in pole position, whilst Paul achieved a promising 4th place. In the first race, Paul managed another amazing start, racing up to 2nd place and managing to avoid the race action behind him, keeping up with Freddie in the lead. But then, at the end of the fastest straight, and driving at over 100MPH, disaster inevitably struck! Paul experienced brake problems and lost confidence in his braking system, which ended up being a leaking brake line. Paul finished the first race in 7th place, a respectable result considering he had a leaking brake line, with Freddie in first place, with Newman just behind him. Starting race 2 and after bleeding his brakes, Paul was ready in 7th place and quickly moved up to 4th place! Some battling and position changing commenced, while Fred and Geoff were battling at the front for the championship win! Geoff Newman ended up taking both the win and extra point for the fastest lap, well done to both drivers! What an incredible season.
