This is Part 2 of the Vermicomposting 101 Series. This video goes over the different types of containers/systems that can be used for Vermicomposting, from the very simple plastic tote to expensive commercial CFT's. There are advantages and disadvantages to every system and it is important to weight them all to come up with the best system for you. I do prefer the fabric CFT's and of course in particular my VermiBags :) I think they are the highest quality and best functioning systems on the market today...but I'm probably a little bias :) Fabric CFT are very forgiving systems and if you make a little mistake, the systems can usually recover quickly from it, where as in open bin plastic systems...it is much harder to recover from mistakes and little mistakes and be fatal to the worms.
