Lake Reschen is a reservoir in the South Tyrolean municipality of Graun im Vinschgau. The lake is at an altitude of about 1520 metres, just south of the Austrian-Italian border, close to the Reschen Pass. The lake is six kilometres long and is one kilometre wide at its widest points. The towns of Reschen, Graun and Sankt Valentin auf der Haide lie on the shores of the lake. In the middle of the lake, a lone bell tower rises a bit above the water surface. It is the only remnant of the village of Graun, which disappeared under the water more than 60 years ago
