Hopefully it will be helpful to them and to others, whether you're a beginner looking to start painting with watercolors (and are overwhelmed by all the options like I was), or someone who's been painting with them for a while but wants to slim down their set up. The reason I love this combination is that I can toss it in a sling bag or a backpack and take it anywhere, then have an extremely compact set up that's quick to get started with so I can paint while sitting at a cafe, on a bench, or anywhere I want. Of course it also works great when painting at my desk. There's no need to go and fill up a water container, grab a large mixing tray, multiple brushes, or squeeze out the colors each time, so it makes it a lot easier to start painting anytime you feel like it. Couple extra tools I forgot to mention in the video, a spray bottle, and a paint rag. The spray bottle helps reactivate the paint, which over time will dry in the pans if you don't use them often. By spraying them, you can bring them back to almost as they were out of the tube over the course of a day or two. As for the paint rag, I just ripped up an old t shirt into 6x6 inch squares, keeps me from dealing with paper towels.
