I’m creating a rustic Easter lamb décor piece using a simple plastic charger plate, a printable lamb image, and a faith-based stencil—plus we’re doing a little experimenting with Amy Howard’s Cracked Patina on a slick surface to see what happens. You’ll see how I: Prep a plastic charger plate with rubbing alcohol Test Cracked Patina for a chippy, timeworn look Apply a printable lamb with Mod Podge for a soft vintage finish Add faith wording with the stencil: “No Greater Love Than This” Build a layered fabric bow with homespun + music print Add a small cross and heart embellishment for an Easter message piece Age everything with wax for that “found it in the attic” look This is a great project if you love faith-filled seasonal decor, rustic finishes, and simple techniques you can adapt to bunnies, crosses, and spring projects. It’s also a good reminder that experimenting is part of the fun—sometimes the “imperfect” steps create the most character. Supplies used (as mentioned in the video) Plastic charger plate (Hobby Lobby) Amy Howard at Home: Cracked Patina Waverly Plaster chalk paint Mod Podge + brush Printable lamb (from Hammon’s Nest) Faith/Easter stencil: “No Greater Love Than This” Paint: Espresso + Heritage Brick Waverly water-based wax Fabric + jute + bow maker (Bodabra) Small heart + cross embellishments (Little Jumbled Market) Links + Discount Codes If you click over to Essential Stencil to grab the Easter Stencil, you can use my code WK21 at checkout.
