Although I believe it is about a photograph, the publisher's artist put an easel on the sheet music cover. This song was published in 1895. It is the second known work of Scott Joplin, who years later would gain fame for his ragtime compositions. Naturally, being 19th-century music, it is in the public domain now. You can download the original sheet music here: http://www.loc.gov/item/ihas.200029065/ or http://lcweb2.loc.gov/diglib/ihas/loc... Be aware, however, that the music was published for piano and voice; the melody actually is not carried in the piano part most of the time, so you'll have to do some re-arranging if you want to play it as a solo piano piece like I have in this video. I probably should have played it on my upright piano instead of the spinet. While the upright is a quarter-tone flat, at least it has good, resounding bass instead of the twangy bass of the spinet.
