The "Fools Gold" Nova of DNR Auto Alignment Nightmare! 4 Hours becomes 10 days!? Race car stuff!

This experience was so long, it had to be split into two separate videos and you'll quickly see why. What had initially been expected to be a little bit a shake down and alignment for Matt and his Fools Gold Nova turned into a what seemed like a never ending test. After getting he and the Street Racing Channel folks handled the Big Block Chevy swap at the SRC Garage, all the hard complicated stuff was already done right? Riiiiiiigghhhht! So, quick recap. 1974 Chevy Nova, originally born with a small block, then converted to an LS, then very very recently reborn with a 496 Big Block Chevy. Initially this car was never built for any kind of serious power or speed but now that Matt has really taken a shine to the race car stuff... well now it's got to be up to task of some serious speeds you see in No Prep Racing and Small Tire racing. Fortunately we have quite a bit of experience shaking down cars and doing final prep work to get them race track ready so we tagged in to help get the "first few bits" sorted out. In the first video we secured the rear end and got that all sorted out, in THIS video we dive into the front and to see what we can do to make him need to wheel this thing a little less. On deck we have a brand new Baer Bump Steer kit designed for the '68-69 Camaro / Firebird and '68-'74 Chevy Nova, piece of cake should be ready to get this thing rocking in just a few hours. Clearly, that wasn't quite the case! We love what we do. We love getting to work on not only our own cool projects but those of our customers.
