But somehow, Medieval Idle Prayer had me hooked. In this weirdly charming pixel-clicker, you play as Giovanni, a guy with big faith, bigger dreams, and possibly a money problems. The art style? Genuinely medieval. The music? A hilarious surprise. The gameplay? Addictive… until it gets a bit monotone later on - but by then, you're already too deep in prayers to stop. From bizarre events like cat parades and wife-unlocks, to the kind of progression system only someone mildly unhinged could invent — this is one of the more original clickers I’ve tried.
