Igatpuri Tourism | Mumbai to Igatpuri | Igatpuri places to visit Not a long road journey this time, but we managed to shoot one of the best hill stations near Mumbai which is just 3 hour drive from Mumbai. After researching for more than a month, we finally decided to visit Igatpuri, as this was the only nearby location where they had fewer restrictions and we could actually step out and visit spots in this beautiful destination. There is a number of one-day places to visit from Mumbai and there are other hill stations in Maharashtra too, but due to Covid many of them were closed and that’s how we immediately planned a trip to Igatpuri. You can definitely visit this hill station in one day, but you need to plan well. Igatpuri is worth visiting in the monsoon thus I vote Igatpuri for the best travel destination near Mumbai, especially during monsoons. We visited Vippasana Meditation center which is globally recognized, followed by Bhavli waterfalls and dam, and the next day while returning back home we visited Camel valley and Ashoka waterfalls. Another interesting point here was, there were no entry fees in any of these locations. Only Ashoka falls had entry fees, but unfortunately, that fall was closed.
