Welcome to this service recorded at South Street Baptist Church in Exeter on 1st February, 2026. The service is led by our minister Ross and focuses on the theme of mission. We welcome to this service our guest speaker - the Revd Andy Saunders from BMS World Mission. Andy formerly used to work for BMS in Nepal. He speaks of the changing face of mission - how increasingly mission is being done by local churches and not by people we send out. Andy shares some of the ways BMS is helping to bring hope to people in some of the world's poorest communities. The service conclude with communion led by Simon, another minister at the church. The service includes: Welcome and Share the peace Call to worship Hymn: Christ’s is the world Reading: Luke 4:16-22a Silence followed by the Lord’s Prayer Reading: Acts 1:6-11 Offering and Dedication Hymn: Colours of Day Address: BMS: The Changing Face of Mission Prayers Communion Hymn: Beauty for Brokenness Blessing Our closing music is played by Mary Ellis, one of our organists.
