We celebrated Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure the best way possible—by eating our way around the park with the Sip and Savor Pass 🤤🎉 This festival is always a favorite of ours, and this year’s food lineup did NOT disappoint. From savory comfort food to creative desserts and specialty drinks, here’s everything we tried👇 🍽️ Food Booths We Visited: 🎋 Bamboo Blessings ✨ Five-Spice Popcorn Chicken with sweet chile-garlic sauce (NEW) Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor! The five-spice seasoning paired perfectly with the sweet-and-spicy sauce—definitely a must-try snack while walking the festival booths. 🍜 Longevity Noodle Co. ✨ Japchae Noodles with kalbi short rib (NEW) These glass noodles were tender and flavorful, and the kalbi short rib took it to the next level. A hearty, satisfying dish that felt perfect for celebrating longevity and good fortune. 🏮 Lucky 8 Lantern ✨ Chocolate Firecracker This dessert was such a fun surprise! Light chocolate mousse, rich ganache, chocolate almond dacquoise, and popping candy made every bite exciting—plus it features DOVE Dark Chocolate, which made it extra decadent 🍫🎆 🥟 Prosperity Bao & Buns ✨ Char Siu BBQ Pork Bao with pickled red onions and jalapeño Soft, fluffy bao filled with sweet-savory BBQ pork and just the right kick from the jalapeño. Balanced, comforting, and super satisfying. 🐉 Red Dragon Spice Traders ✨ Mandarin Orange Cream Puff Light and airy pastry filled with citrus cream and mandarin compote—bright, refreshing, and a perfect not-too-heavy dessert option 🍊 💖 Wrapped with Love ✨ Taro Vietnamese Cold Brew (Non-alcoholic) Made with Joffrey’s Vietnamese-style coffee, cocoa powder, condensed milk, and topped with taro chocolate sweet cream—this was smooth, slightly sweet, and absolutely delicious ☕💜 🍴 Restaurant Items We Tried: 🌴 Paradise Garden Grill ✨ Lemongrass Pork Skewers Grilled lemongrass-marinated pork belly skewers served with fried garlic rice, pickled carrots and daikon, plus a side salad. So flavorful and filling—this felt like a full meal! 🧪 Pym Test Kitchen ✨ Spicy Pork Belly Grilled Cheese (NEW) Korean-spiced pork belly, melty white American cheese, spicy aïoli, pickled onions, and a green onion crust on sourdough—served with potato bites. Bold flavors and definitely one of the most unique items we tried 🔥🧀 🍓 Aunt Cass Café ✨ Strawberry Green Tea Bread Pudding (NEW) Layered strawberry and green tea bread pudding with green tea crème anglaise and whipped topping. Sweet, comforting, and such a cozy dessert option. (Available Jan. 23–Mar. 5; Sip & Savor eligible through Feb. 22) 🔥 Smokejumpers Grill ✨ Bulgogi Fries (NEW) Fries topped with marinated bulgogi beef, kimchi cucumber, mozzarella, gochujang aïoli, sesame seeds, and green onions—loaded, flavorful, and perfect for sharing 🍟 🌭 Outdoor Vending Carts ✨ Mickey-Shaped Hot Dog Bun Classic milk bread with hot dogs, hoisin glaze, parmesan, green onion, and sesame seeds—cute, tasty, and very Disney 🐭 Between the festive decor, vibrant performances, and all these incredible flavors, Lunar New Year at DCA is such a special celebration ❤️ The Sip and Savor Pass made it easy to try so many dishes without committing to full meals, and it turned the day into the ultimate Disney food adventure.
