If you’re unlucky enough to get infected by the corona, chances are really good that you’ll recover healthily. As you saw from the thumbnail, the elderly folk infected have a 15% chance of dying. That’s high for sure, but the number drops drastically with age. If you’re under 40 years old, the Corona virus only has a mortality rate of 0.2%. Ages: 40-49 have a 0.4% mortality rate 50-59 have a 1.3% mortality rate 60-69 have a 3.6% mortality rate and 70-79 have an 8% mortality rate Of course, the 80+ age group has a 14.8% mortality rate. The men have a slightly higher mortality rate than women, of 2.8% vs 1.7%. So in summation, unless you’re 80 years old living in China, you don’t have anything to fear from the corona virus.
