Hamiffal - a collaborative contemporary art center in Jerusalem | By Tal Uliel

Hamiffal (“The Factory”) is an alternative art center in a historic building from the 19th century located in the heart of Jerusalem. The center serves as a platform for multidisciplinary contemporary art and a meeting point for the city's creative community. In 2016, a group of young artists from Jerusalem, known as the "Empty House" group, renovated the building and turned it into a cultural and social center, inviting the public to participate in the activities. Hamiffal includes an art gallery, studios, performances, workshops, and a coffee bar. Video created by Tal Uliel for 'Explainer' studio course, directed by Yonatan Keinan, summer 2022.
