In my case I am using it with a Makita battery powered hand drill BHR 202. There are two adapters in the box, that can adapt the stand for drilling machines with different thicknesses. I have tested the drill press stand with wood and steel, and it both cases, despite my wobbly drill bit adapter, it worked surprisingly well. You can use screws to attach the drill press stand to a table or a bench, so that it’s more stable. The metal base is made of aluminum alloy and the rest from solid steel.
