These Sim Racing Displays Are Works of Art!

Do you need a dashboard display unit (DDU) for sim racing? We’re here to find out and let you know after six months of testing. Yes, we’ve been using GRID Engineering’s (by Sim-Lab) latest displays for an extended period, and here’s our guide to both DDUs in general and a review of the company’s two models. The DDU5 is a 5-inch display to show you important information at a glance, such as gear selected, lap time delta, driver assist settings and temperatures. It also includes an array of 20 LEDs. Meanwhile, the Porsche GT3 Cup takes that same ethos, but ramps it up with a 10.3-inch 1920x720 resolution screen that’s a real-world replica of that found in the motorsport derived Cup car.
