Birthmarked Album and Film - GoFundMe

Hello Everyone! For the last three years I have been developing and performing ‘Birthmarked’ - a gig musical based on my experience growing up and being excommunicated from the religion I grew up in - Jehovah’s Witnesses. It has been an incredible journey and I have learnt so much. However, I have realised that it is something I cannot do forever, and now me and my band are ready to step into a studio and record the official album and create a fully theatrical music video/movie for the screen and capture it FOREVER INTO ETERNITY…! As a musician, painter and theatre maker (who is now being sucked into the world of mathematics and education research!) it feels so important to capture projects such as Birthmarked before they fade into the past. Many hours, months and years have gone into the making of this piece, and it is something I hope can continue to raise awareness and inspire. Creating a version that is accessible all around the world would be utterly incredible. The fundraising goal would cover the costs of: my band studio hire recording engineer mixing and mastering (the technical music producing stuff!) filming and editing This would be my first studio album and I am so excited to finally be focusing on creating it.
