Ross Stewart, 5th dan, HDKI Ireland Ross Stewart sensei, a full-time instructor with the Hombu Dojo located in Dublin, Ireland. He has been competing since he was 10 years old and competes for the Ireland HDKI National Squad and places regularly in world and European competitions. Now a godan, he is invited regularly to teach around Europe and has taught in the USA. This class looks at flow of technique using hip rotation and incorporating the critical importance of loading the back leg. He is currently a rokkyudan and a graduate of the International Shotokan Karate Federation’s instructor trainee program. He is also the author of the bestselling book “Karate Science: Dynamic Movement,” and upcoming “Karate Sceince: Dynamic Mind,” and the content creator of the “karatescience” YouTube channel.
