Beautiful Flared Baby Frock Cutting and Stitching | DIY Very Easy Layered Baby Frock For Beginners “Hey everyone! Welcome back to my channel. Today, I’m going to show you how to make this beautiful flared and layered baby frock. It’s super easy, perfect for beginners, and adds a trendy flair to your little one’s wardrobe. So let’s get started!” [Materials Required] • Fabric (lightweight cotton or any preferred material) • Matching thread • Scissors • Measuring tape • Elastic for waist • Sewing machine • Pins and chalk for marking [Step 1: Taking Measurements] 1. Measure the chest, waist, and the desired length of the frock. 2. Add 1 inch to each measurement for seam allowance. [Step 2: Cutting the Pieces] 1. Start by cutting two identical rectangles for the bodice front and back, according to the chest and waist measurements. 2. For the skirt part, cut two long panels that will be layered. The length will be the total frock length minus the bodice height. Make sure to cut each layer slightly longer than the other for a tiered effect. [Step 3: Bodice Construction] 1. Place the two bodice pieces together, right sides facing each other. 2. Sew the side seams and shoulders. 3. Attach the lining if using one, and turn the bodice right side out. [Step 4: Preparing the Layers] 1. Take the first layer of the skirt and hem the bottom edge. 2. Gather the top edge of each layer to match the width of the bodice. 3. Repeat for the second layer of the skirt. [Step 5: Attaching the Skirt to the Bodice] 1. Start by attaching the first layer to the bottom edge of the bodice. 2. Once done, sew the second layer slightly above the first, giving a nice tiered look. [Step 6: Adding Straps and Finishing] 1. Cut two long straps from the leftover fabric and sew them into the bodice at the shoulder points. 2.
