The Mazda 3 used to be one of Australia's best-selling cars. It isn't anymore. That's not necessarily the car's fault. The market has shifted rapidly to SUVs, and where the Mazda3 used to be a success story, it's now overlooked by buyers who figure they should just get a small SUV or compact crossover instead. There's still a choice of sedan or hatchback, and it's a premium looking thing... apparently. I don't like the hatch's styling, but the saloon is a sweet thing, IMO. Six trim levels, two engines, option packs... there's a whole lot to cover, including fuel economy, power and torque, driving manners (ahem) and much, much more.
