Mandolin 101 -- Cost to current Mozingo Music Students is FREE, General Public Pricing is $5.00 a seat, reserve in advance. 10:00am to 10:55am on 5/7/2011. This master class will focus on folks that play mandolin or want to play mandolin and never have time for lessons or a place to take them. Jerry told us he generally has total beginners leave playing basic tunes with great success. This is one to bring your young adults, kids & grandkids to so they can try mandolin out for themselves. Must provide your own mandolin. (A Note From Eric: For all guitar players, here's a way to learn an alternative instrument quickly. Learning an alternative instrument like mandolin can only benefit you in the long run since a lot of it transfers over, so if you own a mandolin and never use it dust off it off and let Jerry show you how to pick it.)
