JCM 900 Mods - Can I Wake This Up?

I got a wild hair up my behind recently to mod my good old JCM 900 4500. This amp was a gift from my uncle and was part of my main rig from my teenage years up until I was in my mid 20's. I ended up gigging with other amps after that and I really found myself agreeing with much of the crowd that the JCM 900 is thin and underwhelming on channel B (which I tend to spend a lot of time in). I looked at the amp one day not long ago and said to myself, how can I make myself want to play this thing again. Maybe it was my Mark V dying on me not long ago (go check that video out - it was a nail biter, but I got her back to life!), but I really wanted to do something to this amp to make it sing. A quick view of some interweb forums (https://www.thegearpage.net/board/ind...) found a few simple mods that seemed easy and cheap, my two favorite things! Armed with some positive response from my Mark V repair video, I decided this would not only be a great time to mod my JCM 900 (which I've been hemming and hawing about for well over a decade now), but a splendid video opportunity.
