Today was the first time I created an Atmos mix that beat the stereo master in many ways - the low end was much bigger and rounder, there was more depth without sacrificing presence and closeness, and the overall level was competitive with a stereo master. In this video, I share the steps I took to get there. This is not a tutorial per-se, more of a video journal of my findings for other engineers and producers to weigh in on.
