Hey guys, Božidar here again. This video is about quitting smoking. You can find my hypnosis training here: https://www.skool.com/hypnosis-as-a-b... I talked about this before and saw a lot of interest, so today I want to explain the same idea again, but from your perspective—as a smoker. Maybe you’re at a point in your life where you’re deciding whether to quit or not. I’ll explain what you should look for in hypnosis and whether hypnosis can help you. I know it can, because I’ve helped thousands of people quit smoking. I also know your side, because I quit myself using self-hypnosis. Interestingly, quitting smoking is one of the simplest hypnotherapy techniques—but at the same time, it’s one of the hardest. With most therapies, I have control. I can guide you with suggestions and skills. But with smoking, it’s different. I can’t see what’s in your head, and that’s the problem. Quitting smoking is often the only therapy where I don’t really have power. And this is very important: don’t put the responsibility on me. It’s not my decision—it’s yours. You can’t come to me and say, “Make me a non-smoker.” Hypnosis doesn’t work like that. So how does hypnosis work? We have the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. Between them is a psychological filter called the critical faculty. Its job is to protect you. Any idea that tries to enter the subconscious must pass this filter. If the idea of quitting smoking is not truly yours—if it comes from your doctor, your partner, fear, or pressure—it will be rejected by the critical faculty. The idea must be born in your conscious mind. It must become your idea. Others can help you understand the problem. A doctor can explain the health risks. Over time, that explanation can strengthen your own motivation. But in the end, you must accept the idea yourself. I once worked with a man whose motivation came from his grandchildren. They asked him to quit smoking. For him, that was strong enough. He loved them deeply, and he succeeded. That showed me again that motivation must be personal. This is your homework. My job is technical—I help move your idea into the subconscious. But the idea itself must be yours. Smoking is not an addiction; it’s a habit. Habits can be changed. I’ve seen this thousands of times. Most of the time, direct hypnosis works—around 95 percent of cases. Only rarely do we need deeper work, like regression, to find an underlying cause. If you’re not ready, the therapy won’t work. Sometimes I even refuse therapy if I feel the motivation isn’t strong enough, because your success matters to me. So do your homework. Build your motivation. Understand that you are not the first person to quit smoking with hypnosis, and you won’t be the last. Find a hypnotist you trust. Use your intuition. Look at their work. Ask questions. When you’re ready, the technical part is simple. That’s all for now. If you have questions, leave a comment below. I’ll answer honestly. Be well. Bye. https://www.skool.com/hypnosis-as-a-b...
