The driver is taken into custody for DUI and numerous related felony charges. December 21, 2023 – An Infiniti G37, initially clocked at 102 mph in a 60-mph zone, flees at speeds exceeding 145 mph. Matthews coordinates with multiple agencies and executes a single, decisive PIT that brings the vehicle to a controlled stop. The driver, found to be impaired and wanted on child-related offenses, is arrested without further incident. March 7, 2024 – A stolen Ford Fusion leads officers through residential streets and against traffic. Matthews performs two separate PIT maneuvers before the suspect abandons the vehicle and attempts to flee on foot. With the assistance of K-9 Loco, the individual is quickly apprehended.
