Hickory Shad run up the tidal rivers all along the Chesapeake Bay Estuary every spring. It is a local past time to flood the rivers to catch and release these fun fighting fish. Using light to medium tackle is the deal and will give plenty of excitement. On this trip, we also got into an absolute ton of crappie. So many that I didn't even show all the footage.
