Hello all, I hope this finds you well! For today's project I made an easy macrame wallhanging. This is a beginner level using only two knots, the Larks Head Knot, and a half Square Knot. If you are new to macrame or don't know those knots, please watch this video before you begin:    • HOW TO: 7 MUST KNOW Macrame Knots | S...   Some variations for the end are: the shape you cut the bottom into, you can do a straight edge, a "V" shape, I did a "U" shape for this one, you can leave the cords, unravel the cords, if you have a cord that combs out well, you could brush the fringe as well. Please note that because these knots spiral, twist and turn, and some cords get moved over many places while making this pattern, there will be a few cords left at the end that are quite a bit longer than the rest. I did my very best, having made this and pulled it apart 6 times before recording to get measured cords lengths that will end the project with the least amount of waste. (YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH CORD I USED TO FIGURE THIS OUT!!!!) So please, if you are concerned about a few feet of cut offs (not much I promise) then please consider another pattern. I do have some tutorials planned for the end of December/beginning of January for projects to use up those scraps so don't throw them away! :) The cord I used for this project was from an old , larger wallhanging I pulled apart, so Im sorry but I can't say for sure where this cord came from, but it is a 4mm, 3 ply cotton rope. I do know that Ganxxet has an amazing 4mm 3ply and had I had enough of that one, I would have brushed out the fringe.
