The desire to combine them was the motivation that brought to life an idea conceived in late spring 2016, in a collection that Sportful has dedicated to one of its most representative athletes, Dorothea Wierer. The garments have the technical features and design that only the Sportful R&D department can deliver, offering both World Cup athletes and Nordic skiing enthusiasts the best clothing for winning or just having fun – or sometimes, as happens more and more often, both. A Sportful team with the addition of an exceptional outsider to add the touch of femininity and elegant taste that only Doro can convey through her racing and her daily life. It started with a dream, the desire to create something unique for an extraordinary athlete but also for all women who love cross-country skiing, to further enhance their femininity out on the trails. It’s a design that evokes the constellations to remind us that women are always our stars, but it includes some special requests from Doro, such as the red, the color representing her spirit, as a passionate fighter, and a DORO STYLE logo designed by her in close collaboration with our creative director.
