[1:16] The yarn I'm dyeing in this video 1 skein of stroll, swish DK, and gloss presoak for 30+ min in plain tap water [2:22] The dyes Cranberry Sauce inspiration. Dharma Cabernet and Poinsettia. Mix them with citric acid powder Cabernet ~ 2 T citric acid + 1 tsp cabernet. Later I diluted this with more CA. Ponsettia - 1/2 T CA + a little bit of dye powder. (Less dye and less volume overall.) [4:17] The dyebath 8 cups of water + 2 T white vinegar on 300 g of yarn [5:34] Dyeing the prototype Add 2T CA to the cabernet mixture, 1 T to the ponsettia Flip and move the yarn without waiting, just apply color all over and then moving [15:53] After 30 minutes, remove the yarn to cool [16:43] Dyeing 2 skeins in a pan [18:35] Washing the yarn [24:15] The finished dry yarn [26:28] ChemKnits Creations Black Friday!
