A circular hike up Blencathra - not on Sharp Edge. Family friendly!

We hiked to the summit of Blencathra as a family, avoiding Sharp Edge and taking a beautiful circular route past Scales Tarn. We parked in a lay-by just outside of Scales, which is big enough for approximately 8 cars. Don't go too late in the morning on a sunny day and miss out!
