Soaring over Portland - Sunset in the City of Roses

Above the busy waters of the Willamette River rise the skyscrapers of downtown Portland. Across the calm waters is OMSI - the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, a submarine docked beneath the artful exterior of this center of learning. Crossing above the river are numerous bridges across which flow an endless stream of traffic - from the simple few lanes of the Ross Island bridge, to the pedestrian and MAX light rail of "Tillicum Crossing", to the massive double-decker bulk of I-5. The water of the river itself is plied by jet boats and rowing teams, around and under which dive and frolic sea lions. Portland is a weird and wonderful metropolis.
